Wanderer Wines is owned by Catherine Dillon who has been
involved in tourism for the past fourteen years.
Catherine holds a Diploma in Wine from the Cape Wine Academy (CWA) and is presently studying towards her Cape Wine Masters. She is committed to ensuring that SA wine is understood, appreciated and enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Her love of people, the bush and her country has ensured that wine tours offered are insightful and enjoyable.
Today the company comprises of specialist wine guides who share the same vision of offering a winelands experience that will leave an indelible impression on visitors.
Catherine’s committment to tourism excellence has led to her involvement in facilitating the Wine Service Course on behalf of the CWA. In addition she lectures for the CWA from Intro level through to Diploma, including Front of House.
In terms of safari experience Catherine has led several National Geographic Photographic Expeditions with Chris Johns, current editor of National Geographic to Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. In addition she has experience of private and group safari tours in both private game reserves and national parks within South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
